With the sun shining brightly on Sunday, Dave and I decided to take his parents’ dog, Skye, for a walk by Pershore River. As it had been raining heavily in the week prior, the route ended up being rather muddy and we had to cut it short; but regardless of that, Skye loved running around the field, acting like a puppy again.

With the walk done – albeit sooner than expected – we headed to The Angel Inn to see their recently refurbished bar and to have an afternoon tipple. What are weekends for, eh? The bar looked fabulous, completely different and much trendier! Another great thing about this pub is the range of food and drinks on offer; Dave had a pint of Doombar and I had one of the Angel’s homemade Tipsy Angel Sweet Ciders, which was absolutely divine! We didn’t have any food this time but from past experience, I know it’s delicious.

So if you’re in the area, The Angel Inn and Pershore’s riverside are 100% worth the visit and makes for a very enjoyable afternoon.
